ACT Insurance announced the launch of two new annual insurance policies designed for creators whose businesses have historically fallen outside standard coverage options. The new offerings support curated sellers and handmade beauty businesses that need year-round protection tied to how they operate day to day.
Businesses selling products made by others or items that are less than 80 percent handmade can now purchase coverage through the Curated Sellers policy. This includes creators like vintage resellers, boutique owners and collectible sellers, who often face liability tied to product use or injury even when they did not manufacture the items themselves. Pricing for the policy starts at $31.58 per month.
Small-batch makers of soaps, candles and cosmetic products can now access coverage through the Handmade Beauty policy, since even carefully-produced items can trigger reactions or claims tied to customer use, creating risk for independent makers. Annual coverage is available for $515 per year.

"We built these policies to reflect real creative businesses instead of forcing sellers into short-term or incomplete coverage."
These new offerings expand ACT's annual coverage lineup to support sellers who operate year-round, including those whose products fall outside traditional handmade definitions or event-based policies.
